Phillip Trometter

Phillip Trometter is Senior Vice President and Partner at Penn Strategies. Prior to joining Penn Strategies, Phil was employed by The Commonwealth Foundation. Phil also served as a grassroots organizer for the National Mining Association and National Association of Home Builders.

Phil attended St. John Neumann Regional Academy and graduated with the gold-cord accolade. He then attended Penn State Harrisburg where he was accepted into the Schreyer Honors College, and graduated with a B.S. in Public Policy. Penn Strategies brought Phil on board in the summer of 2013.

Phil has experience in local, national and grassroots political campaigns, as well as municipal planning. He  currently serves as an economic development consultant for various Pennsylvania municipalities, townships, authorities and private industry. Previously, he provided strategic consulting services in Pennsylvania political campaigns for the positions of; Governor, County Commissioner, County Register and Recorder, County Controller, City Council, Magisterial District Judge and Township Supervisor.

Phil is an Eagle Scout, enjoys volunteering his time with Troop 12 and is a member of the Williamsport Kiwanis Club. He also received the Williamsport Key to the City from Mayor Gabe Campana for his service to Williamsport and the surrounding areas, received the President`s Freshman Award from Penn State University for academic excellence, and was selected by Philadelphia Billy Penn Magazine as one of Pennsylvania`s “Who`s Next? Young Pennsylvanians shaping politics”.

Phil currently lives in Loyalsock Township and serves on the Loyalsock Township Planning Commission.
